Date set a bit nervous and also more relaxed

Its has seemed like a long journey I found out I needed a Hysterectomy , October 25th of this year. In this short period of time I have had all types of blood work, cat scan, Ultrasound. I have been poked and prodded by four Dr;s. I felt compelled to get other opinions. I called my Insurance carrier myself and found out I needed to get a Dr affliated with a Different hospital. The third Dr was a great choice, who got me in with the best in my area to do da vinci which I concur this is the best option for me. I got the finalized date this morning for the 27th of December. I am looking forward to it as a new beginning without looking 5 months pregnant and not able to bend over my stomach or sit and drive with a belt on. Am I nervous yes!!! I did ask to see the Fibroids and uterus after surgery I have been promised a picture. I need to see, I don't know why. The fibroids eviction notice has been signed and it is just a matter of time and they are gone.
No more stuffed feeling, no more dragging this large belly around or trying to get comfortable. No more spotting, No more bladder pressure.

I am not looking forward to the prep, it just a real turn off but part of the journey. Any suggestion how to handle Miralax with ducolax. Truth be told I am also not into IV's born with very tiny baby veins so if the tech isn't good I become the human pin cushion.

You are well in your way to feeling better. It sounds like you're very organized and managing the process well. And it's good you got more than one opinion. It's can be a very stressful time, keep busy and the time will pass. I wish you luck with your surgery and happy healing.
