Re: Lades who have been here, when can I sleep on my side

I started sleeping on my side by day 3 post op, used a pillow against my stomach which helped a lot!

Re: Lades who have been here, when can I sleep on my side

I was by day 2 but it took alot of wiggling around and strategically placing pillows between my knees and under my belly and getting into a fetal like position and then try not to move to get the best out of it. Still can't belly sleep but a side/belly position with pillows almost gets me there.

Re: Lades who have been here, when can I sleep on my side

I am 3 weeks post op and just started sleeping on my side with the support of a pillow, in addition to another between my legs.

It is hard when you're a side sleeper having to sleep on your back, isn't it? I would try hard not to push yourself too much since sleep can induce movement that might not be comfortable for you - less comfortable than the not sleeping on your side, that is.

Hugs!

Re: Lades who have been here, when can I sleep on my side

I think I was three or four days post op before I could lay on my side, but it wasn't comfortable. By the end of the first week, I finally got where I could sleep on one side half the night, and then roll over and sleep on the other side the rest of the night.
