Re: Looks Like Good Hysterectomy Weather. LOL

I have to be at the hospital at 8am tomorrow. They are calling for heavy rainfall tonight here in NC, clear a little at daybreak and then rain again all day. Sounds like perfect weather for H-Day huh? I'm ready. Now if I can just make it through this bowel prep without getting dehydrated. I took the Mag citrate at noon and it only took an hour to start working. Good Luck hyster sisters!

Re: Looks Like Good Hysterectomy Weather. LOL

I started my bowel prep yesterday, per doctors orders. Its almost time to go round 2 and I've felt so cr*p-tastic that I haven't had much to eat since last night. (Scrambled egg and a piece of white toast). Debating if I should eat before I start - load the cannons, so to speak, or just go make myself a big glass of green tea and wait for the fun to begin again.
Fortunately, I don't have to leave the house later to pick the kids up. I hadn't even thought about it till my mom called and said, "Why don't I pick up the kids and feed them pizza before I bring them home." Gosh, I love my mom!
PS: Saturday appears to be the "choice weather day" here - 1-2" of rain, maybe some freezing rain - snow in the panhandle. I'll have a front row seat at my picture window to watch it - and not have to get out in it.

Re: Looks Like Good Hysterectomy Weather. LOL

LOL I thought I was the only one checking the weather for my surgery. I'm in South Florida and about a week before my surgery there was something churning in the Atlantic. I was like "great, we're gonna be in the middle of a hurricane during my surgery and they're gonna have to finish everything using generator power!" But no.... there was no hurricane. It also was a lovely day for surgery for me as well, though truth be told I would have rather spent it on the beach.... ha!

Good luck with yours!! Yay for good weather!

Re: Looks Like Good Hysterectomy Weather. LOL

It is a hot day here at my place in Australia so I am looking forward to the air conditioning of the hospital. There has to be some benefit of being in pain and it will be much quieter in hospital than it will be back at my place on return. The time is flying by now and I have been cooking up a storm this morning so I can leave some food for the first few days, after that Dad will be on kitchen duty.

Re: Looks Like Good Hysterectomy Weather. LOL

Snow in Tennessee tonight and tomorrow and a dusting of snow shuts roads down here. Luckily I am five minutes from hospital for my 530 arrival on Wednesday morning.
