umm..... PMS cramps? Really?

Hi ladies......

Okay, my chest hurt this morning when I woke up like I was getting my period today! Swollen and sore.....?? So far all day, I've had cramps like my period is coming at any minute!? What is this about?

Every time I use the restroom, I say a prayer that I'm not going to see a pool of blood there.....

Anyone else feel like there period is on its way? Geez! That's all I'd need!! Lol..... I want a refund!

Thanks, ladies!

Re: umm..... PMS cramps? Really?

I was so disappointed when my doctor told me it is quite likely to have PMS symptoms if you leave one or both ovaries. Even though the uterius is gone the hormonal communication between the brain and the ovaries is still alive and well. What a bum wrap. I'm hoping though that the cramps will get less intense the further we are in recovery. And for me, I'm just glad to have the 500 gram uterus with all the fibroids and endo out of me.

Booooooooo!!!!! The cramps hurt like I've never had anything done! I thought I hurt myself!

Glad to hear that it lessens in time! Geez! They were bad today!

Thanks for the responses, ladies!

By the way, that was one heck of a uterus you had there! I'm happy for you that it's gone!

Good luck, ladies!

I also have been experiencing sore boobs like I used to get before my period and feels like the begining of cramps. Thank goodness it never gets as bad as before. I still have my ovaries.

Did you keep your cervix? If so, you could be experiencing a mini-period if it is bright red blood. If not, it could be simply old blood that needs to leave your body. It would be wise to contact your doctor and let him or her know what is going on. By the way, if you are bleeding to the point of filling a pad in one hour, get yourself to the ER asap!

I did not keep my cervix. The blood is dark almost brown, (sorry if gross) but its also really stinky. I am having such bad pain in my lower pelvis. I was planning on calling my doc on Monday. I have my two week check up on thurs (8th).
