Re: 13 days to go. Scared, emotional, agitated and no paitence.

Elspethsheir, thank you for your post! Man the pain I have these days is for the the adeno and it is so painful, I am finding the birth control pills make it so much worse and at one point I was just begging to get my uterus out. Since they changed me over to the progesterone it is a little better, not debilitating but still way too painful for me and I am hoping and praying for "it's the best thing I ever did" reaction as well. Looking forward to the surgery... and for pain free days as well. =)

Re: 13 days to go. Scared, emotional, agitated and no paitence.

And, pre op for the urologist was OK... found out from the test they did I have some muscle weakness and the mini sling should help that, But, the test did show some spasms and I guess if I still have that after surgery then I might need to try meds. So, I now understand that feeling of I have to go even after I go is a spasm... who da thunk, lol. She said small cut in the vag wall to put in the mini sling, she does her thing after the specialist does his work... wonder how long I will be out.

I will ask at my pre op Monday, I think he said a standard hyst is about 3 hrs, if I have adhesion's (and I do as they can feel them and see my ovaries glued down) it could be longer. I think her surgery takes about an hour and she will fill my bladder and look for IC. Any of you have this done?

I have to go and get a test to look at the structure of my bladder and kidneys (I think an IVP?) on Monday morning before my pre op so one more thing out of the way.

I need to get my shopping done for my after care princess throne recover area... whew that was a lot to say, lol. I saw another gal found a grabber at the dollar store, must look for that. Get some kind of comfy loose pj's and things like that.

OK, enough from me again... sorry, nervous energy!
