It's getting closer....

Wow, I love this sight. I did my shopping for my stay in the hospital today from the great lists and suggestions all you gals are posting. I received my Perfect Pocket Binder to have ready for me for my rest and re-cooping afterwards. That HysterSister booklet was great and I read the whole thing today! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I'm starting to get a little nervous but trying to just focus on the good that will happen (hopefully) when this is all through. This being my first surgery ever will be interesting to say the least. I've been running and working out like crazy trying to stay healthy and strong so that recovery will be easy--but not quick! I think I might like staying home for the month of January.... Just hoping that I'm not in pain through the whole month.

MaryJo

I've heard great things about the Perfect Pocket Binder and I hope it works perfectly for you! I understand about being nervous. My TVH was my first and only surgery ever. It's quite normal but keeping busy will help distract you and make the time pass a little quicker!

When is your surgery? If you have a date, don't forget to add it to your profile so you'll be included in that days best wishes and you'll be able to post in the Post-Op forum when you up to it! If you're still waiting for the date, you can add it when you find out what it is!

Best wishes!

Staying busy & keeping your workout Pre-op will be an asset as you transition into post-op. There are several posts in the post-op forum regarding working out, Zumba & running that might be of interest to you. Best of luck!
