Ok, I will go by this the most efficient way!

For those of you who are around 4 months post op (abdominal surgery patients please), what is your exercise routine?

Please tell me all about it, I would LOVE to read and get a good idea of what can be done, etc...

PLEASE answer me!

Re: 4 months post op: your routines?

I had mine almost 4 months on the 8-10 but mine was vaginally, however, had to have abdonailly surgery 2 days later due to internal bleeeidng! Sort of the same! As for exercise, I am a runner, so I try to get a 7 mile run once aweek and then 2 to 3 times a week during the week! It is sometimes once a week with my 4 kids! I jsut try to be mindful of my calories when I can! I did a half amrathon on 10-23!! Do waht is comfortable for you!! Try 15 minutes every 3 days and then gradaully add time!! It is hard!

Re: 4 months post op: your routines?

Gen, I walked. My routine was/is/will be walking 10 to 12 km daily so I simply went back to that. It takes about an hour and half to two hours so that is all I have time for with a full time job. I am sure that others will pipe in with what they do and it will probably be a lot more exciting than what I do.
