Day 7 post op

Hi, I'm new here and just figured I would share a little. I had my surgery last Monday and it went really well, I found this site after I came home and was looking online for some side effects I was having. I am healing perfect, and taking it easy, I do have a rash of hives that started on my stomach, and now moved to my thighs... I think I read this happened to someone else. I was really scared to have this surgery, since I have never had surgery before but I am very
happy now that its over. I was very anemic and had a very large Fybroid along with adenomyosis. I am happy I found this website.

Re: Day 7 post op

glad to hear you are doing well. like you I was really scared, too. I had mine a few days before you....and I am so happy it is over and I am so glad it is over. I feel so much better. I had large fibroid that was pushing against bladder, and lots of hip pain. I can actually feel the difference. best wishes on your recovery.

Hives? Sounds like you have some allergic reaction going on ...maybe from the meds. You need to contact your doctor.

Re: Day 7 post op

I didn't have hives but I ended up allergic to the adhesive on the bandages. I had THUMB size blisters around all of of incisions. Luckily the blisters have gone away and now they're just nice big scabs, lol.

Thank you, I am so glad they have this surgery as an option-it seems like there are so many women suffering from this stuff, I just talked to my doctors office and let them know about the hives..
