Meals being provided question( kids mentioned)

Hey all I am having a LAVH tomorrow!! I have been blessed by my church family asking if they can provide meals...just trying to figure out for how long/ how often.

To help with your opinion let me give you a few mom with stay with me part of the day, I have 3 older kidos( which I homeschool), and my husband can not get time off so the earliest he arrives home is 6pm.

Any advice is great...we just don't want to be greedy or not ask for what will be best for us.

Re: Meals being provided question( kids mentioned)

If you can have them do meals for at least the whole first week that would be great. Dinner being the most important because breakfast can be eay with toast, oatmeal and stuff. Lunch can be simple with sandwiches.

About the second week I was cooking meals with the help of my 14 year old and boyfriend. Meaning they would get the pots and pans ready for me. I would cook and they would clean. Are your children old enough to help out with that stuff? If they are that's great because it's a huge help. If not and hubby gets home late then maybe you'll need dinners for a few weeks. Good luck.
