Need Advice about what to ask doc tomorrow?

Hi Sisters. Long story short to set up my question: I had an LSH with both ovaries removed two weeks ago today. I am nearly 55 but was still having periods - although a lot of menopausal symptoms (hot flashes, low libido, itching insomnia), so we knew I was "in the red zone". Doc did not do an estrogen panel before, and told me I would likely not need HRT and we would discuss at my two week post op. Two days after surgery, wickedly long and intense sweats, racing heart and severe insomnia started. Thought I should "play through the symptoms" until my post op. 10 days after surgery - last Friday - i got a pounding migraine, started shaking and vomiting uncontrollably. Ended up spending the weekend back at the castle after 7 hours in the ER. Determined I had severe estrogen withdrawal and they slapped a 1.0 generic estradiol patch on my behind. Kept me two days to wean me off morphine and other pain meds for the migraine.
I am home and I frankly feel amazing. Slept better than I have in months. In a great mood. Taking no pain meds, and even seeing some cervical mucus (sorry TMI) which I havent seen in ages. I have only been on this patch since Friday night. My post op is tomorrow. For those of you who have now been taking HRT for a while, is my good sleep and feeling good due to the new surge of estrogen? What should I talk to my doc about at this appointment? The patch is kinda big and a little itchy, but has stayed on. Looking for advice from all of you experienced ladies. My guts is telling me - don't fix what is no longer broken since I am finally feeling good? Thanks!

Re: Need Advice about what to ask doc tomorrow?

And I should add that I was sobbing for two days during my meltdown, and now, not emotional at all.
I exercise regularly and watch my weight and don't want to gain weight on the estrogen. What can I expect?
