Doing well

I am doing well. Just had my surgery 11 days ago and I am going out of the house for the first time today. VERY excited. I can't wait to wrap up all my pads and give them to my little sister for Christmas (hee hee!). I have bled every single day for almost all of 2011. After the surgery, about 4 drops total. I bought more pads right before surgery thinking I would need them. Not a single cramp since my big day. What is even better is that I would have been on my period for my birthday coming up soon. That is the best gift of all! Bye Bye monthly torture.....I got my revenge on you!

Re: Why are you having a hysterectomy?

Black cat, So glad to hear you are recovering well. Just PLEASE go slow. If you read my posts..I was so ready to get back to life after bleeding, etc for so long. But Each time I over did it That gives a major hit to your esteem. Once was just sitting on the deck for a couple of hours! So just go slow. Even if you aren't hurting while you are doing things it might hurt later. Enjoy the time out And just remember that this new life is here to stay !! No need to grab it while you can like the old days. The energy, etc is you new way of life
