Re: Tummy Pillow

My daughter bought me a donkey. It is such a help when you cough or pass gas! I love mine...even if it's just a comfort thing

Re: Tummy Pillow

My wonderful nurse in the hospital made me a 'coughing' pillow from a hospital blanket and tape. I was very grateful.

I am a diehard Red Sox fan so I have their mascot 'Wally' pillow pet for at home and in my car - such a wonderful thing for coughing and that cute face makes me smile.

I have him in my overnight if I have to stay, hubby will leave in car if I need will bring bag in or keep at his desk at Hospital. Slight advantage he works at the hospital my surgery is at.

Re: Tummy Pillow

I received a pee wee lady bug for Christmas from my wonderful mother in law that I will be taking to the castle on January 5th. She wanted me to have something cute and cuddly to wake up too. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.

Re: Tummy Pillow

Whirlygig, you got the binder? I wish I had bought it. Are you still using it now that you are 2 weeks post op? Just wondering if I should get one this late in the game. I bought some large ACE bandages to bind with and they work ok but not perfect.

Re: Tummy Pillow

I didn't find this site until after my procedure so I was ill prepared, but my 10 year old saw me having difficulty positioning a regular sized pillow and offered me his Lightning McQueen pillow pet! He's such a sweetheart!

Re: Tummy Pillow

I'm still using mine (not as much as before) but you don't need to spend $$ on a pillow pet - any pillow or even a folded sheet or blanket that you can hold against your tummy will work.
