Re: 4 days to go, I think I'm ready.

I got my will updated and witnessed, my advanced directive updated and witnessed. I have one insurance policy that I want to update the beneficiary but missed them on Friday. Hopefully I can do it on Monday. I have some insurance papers to notarize when I got make a deposit at the bank on Monday.

I need to pick up a few things at the grocery store too. It's been busy since I had to go to work yesterday, today and probably Monday. I'm hoping today and Monday are very short days though because I still have some of that last minute stuff to do.

I'm not feeling all that perky. I am so glad this is my last period. My blood sugar is running high like it always does. I don't know if it is hormonally triggered so it will still be a problem after surgery or if it is because the heavy bleeding and pain strains my body. It also runs high if I have a cold or anything so not feeling well can be the trigger.

The dr. didn't have me do bowel prep but recommended I try to get my bowels pretty empty. I have been taking stool softeners for a few days which doesn't seem to have changed anything. I took a dose of Miralax last night but that hasn't done anything yet. I've also been eating more fiber than usual.

Doing a total liquid diet can really mess up my blood sugar but I think I will do something semi liquid on Monday.

WOW, I am so unprepared compared toy you... : O
I do probiotics, they really help me. They did not have me do a prep either and really mentioned nothing about clearing anything out as well. Be careful all fo that does not build up and make you have a super bad crampy tunny and be in the toilet all day. Good luck!
