Home from surgery; endometriosis questions, too

Hi friends, Day #2 at home following LAVH. My surgery ended up being 3 hours long and the worst part of it all is the pain in my hip. I always struggle with it. They had trouble getting my blood pressure under control following surgery, but meds have solved that problem. I have been thinking of all of you. Truthfully, Weds and Thursday I did not feel like talking to anyone, so I am glad to be more like myself today. I am very thankful she was able to complete it through laparascopy rather than abdomen. I have to look up some info about endometreosis so if anyone has any comments about that I appreciate it! Take care of YOU!

Re: Home from surgery; endometriosis questions, too

Glad to hear you are feeling more like yourself and you were able to have a laparoscopy rather than an abdominal incision.

As a new , be sure to lots of fluids, as you are able, and get plenty of . You only have one chance to heal right the first time so you want to take full advantage of it!

Also, if you have endometriosis questions, please pop over to our Endometriosis Support forum. You can post your questions there and read through the stickies of information posted at the top of the forum. I will forward to seeing you there!
