With TLH, does anything vaginal need to be done?

Oh, dear. Here comes the questions. It's going to be a long week for you ladies. LOL

I was lurking around, again, and saw posts related to TLH (which is what I'm having) but some ladies said things about the vaginal area also being used for various things...(lol, did this sound funny to anyone besides me? lol).

I guess what I'm getting at is I was honestly expecting "just" some laproscopic incisions and wasn't aware that anything might have to be done vaginally so I didn't really research that. I've never had any vaginal births and have had 3 c-sections and I have a lot of scar tissue.

Should I be expecting some vaginal pain, too? I'm very..."tight" down there, my dr. has a hard time doing even my paps and such. Isn't the uterus, cervix removed through the lap incisions? And how/where is the "vaginal cuff" done?

I want my va-jay-jay left alone!!! LOL Just kidding...but really, I thought it would be. What does "packing" mean? Will I have that?
