Re: Anyone ever make it thru recovery with zero spotting/bleeding?

I don't even remember how many weeks it's been since my surgery (Sept 29) [ETA: That sounds ridiculous, but I mean to say I'm too tired to calculate it! :-) ], but except for one day when I was having intestinal problems and straining and ended up passing a clot and having some bleeding, I haven't had any bleeding. When I had my 8-week post-op, the surgeon said there were still stitches, and I don't know if that means they'll eventually come out - the exam was very uncomfortable, so I wasn't thinking to ask at the time. I still can't bring myself to stop wearing panty liners (I use the washable cloth kind) - I wonder how long it'll be before I exhale! :-)

I've never gone so long without a pad!

They put a pad on me immediately following surgery. I had an abdominal incision removing my uterus and cervix. There was one pale pink stain right afterwards and then nothing. I didn't even have bleeding from my incision.

No bleeding at all. Keeping panty liners for the unexpected sneezes, though

Happy to report that it's been 4 weeks and not a spot. Actually had very little pink discharge when I went to the bathroom the first week but nothing since. Keeping my fingers crossed. ;-)

Re: Anyone ever make it thru recovery with zero spotting/bleeding?

6 days and nothing. I did have a tiny bit of clear fluid, which the nurse said was common, to rest more. Rest more? I think that's all I've been doing. I did use 6 stairs a couple of times a day, always going slow and making both feet meet on the same step but I guess it was too much since the clear fluid came with a bit of cramping. Over all far better than I expected.

I'm 2 weeks post op and I had a tiny bit of bleeding the first couple of days in the hospital and since then nothing - it's been great.

My TLH was 1 week ago today. I had some light bleeding in the hospital & the following day when I came home, but nothing since then. There is pink on the tp, but nothing really notable. Of course I'm tracking it... I would be a fool not to. Oh, and when I leave the house, there is a pad in my purse. Just in case.
