Help! Recommendation for a cooling blanket, anyone?

Hi, I am 2 day shy of 4 weeks, and the hot flashes in bed are awful! I have a comforter that traps the heat in and a light sheet is almost too cool. I saw a product for a cooling blanket by "Outlast" which is supposedly good for maintaining a not too hot or not too cold temp in the bed. Has anyone tried it and can you give me any input?

Thanks!

Hi Catherine,
I haven't used one myself, but I think I've seen a few posts here about cooling blankets. You could do a search here until someone comes along with personal experience.

I priced one type and that was it. But I just got a Brookstone catalog and they have a fan that blows air under the blankets. It looked interesting and if I recall, it had a remote. That might be worth checking out if you don't find a cooling blanket you like. It was way more affordable than the blankets I priced. Let us know if you get one or the other how it works.
