So happy to be here

I am looking forward to reading all of the the hints and have such a great support group!

I was diagnosed with breast cancer 4 years ago, and in lieu of going on Tamoxifen, my oncologist suggested an oopehorectomy. I have decided to have a total hysterectomy, giving cancer fewer organs to attack, especially with having dysplasia numerous times.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to have HRT, due to the estrogen contributing to my cancer in the first place.

We are glad you are here too!!! You are in the right place for information and support!!!

I'm so sorry to hear of your cancer diagnosis. It sounds like you have made an educated decision about having a hysterectomy. Although it is something that you know needs to be done, there may be times when you need a shoulder to cry on....that's where we come in!!

Again welcome. Have a look around and I sure hope you find this site as helpful and AMAZING as I have!!

to you in your upcoming surgery!!
