When i got home i either used neet on my legs or i filled wash basin from hospital and shaved that way.at home i am basically only doing 3 showers a week and washing off on other days.i dont trust glue on my belly.its already came unattached but it did seal itsself back up-just thought i'd let u know

If i were you, I would not shave just before your surgery. I always shave so I just decided to stop shaving a couple of days before my surgery. I read something about shaving just before opens you up to my infections and stuff...not sure if that is true. To be on the safe side though, I would shave just a few days before but not the day before or the day of.

your pre-op nurse should go over all of the stuff you're to do and not.they want u the nite before to take shower with an antibacterial in it and another one the morning of surgery.no lotion but i put a little lotion just not much at all.they never said anything about it

Not everyone has to do the antibacterial wash--I never have with three different surgeons, four different facilities. But the no lotion rule really does mean no lotion. For one, having lotion on can cause the electrodes to show inaccurate results.

Each woman definitely should check with her own medical professionals about all the pre op do's and don'ts! You don't want your surgery cancelled because you missed one!
