i bought some really cool pink pj bottoms for ride home.they are made of that fluffy fleece and it being cold in all ,its kinda like your legs have a blanket on them.i also got 3 pairs of pull-string pj bottoms because of the SWELLY-BELLYi did use them for the 1st 3 weeks and i got cool ones on right now

I did get a pillow pet to pack and a fleece night gown for home. Not sure my normal sleep things would be as comfortable. Might have to look into pj bottoms for around the house.

I have lived in pj bottoms for 8 post-op days now!

even if u know someone that has a lot of scrub bottoms that would work as long as they're pullstring.i have my blanket-type ones on right now.i got them at TJMAXX for $7.00.thats the best $7.00 i ever spent!!!

I am two weeks postop from a TAH. I had yo stay for 5 nights because of blood clot issues mostly. I took lots of underwear, sports bra, robe, slippers (hospital socks only came in Xlg), face wipes, lotion, chapstick, toothbrush and paste, phone n charger, Kindle, comb, hair ties, shampoo and my own pads for bleeding. Hospital will give you supplies but it is cheap stuff and I wanted my own. Pads are huge and too bulky there. Underwear with some support works best. Gowns are ok but thin, so sports bra made me feel less exposed. I even got two bras with front zippers that are awesome.

good luck finding everything and also i dont know if u burn candles in your house but i really enjoyed them when i was completely incapacitated.they got good ones at that store too.good luck on your treasure hunt

ms.tennessee- i hope u have a great recovery -east tennessee is where i am from.do u have to wear ted hose at home too?i didnt but i read a lot people have had to

Ok Thanks to all the help I have decided on packing the following:
a pillow pet, lip balm, toiletries,(won't forget pads),fuzzy socks, rubber soled slip on shoes.
