I think it's just hard in general for us as woman to sit back and not do, do do! It's how we have always been, and we mostly never rely on others, we rely on ourselves, right?

Well, my son who can drive will be going shopping today since my youngest (13 yr old boy) has been cooking for me non-stop and getting anything I need-who knew-I thought he'd be the least helpful but he is the most (thank you Son)

thank gosh everything is okay i go tomorrow for checkup.i told nurse everything i had been doing and i'll probably get chewed out by doc but i have a busy life-like everybody so its so hard just not to do anything.i felt like a complete sloth 1st week i was home and pretty soon i was doing a little too much and i knew it too.

I'm loosing my mind here too. I folded towels and discharge was a bit more and darker in color. Should I panic. If it were bright red I'd just go to the ER.

does your doc have a # you could call to get his answering service?does it look like old blood or a discharge?if it looks like old blood i would definitely call answering service and tell them u are going to ER.thats why they get paid the big bucks.our doctors do work for us.are you cramping?if so have you tried a coldpack or a heating pad for discomfort?

you need to call the doctor and get them to check you out.this is important i think.i dont know a lot about your type of procedure.why dont u start thread and ask some of our pals on site?

Thanks for the concern. I love this site. Started tread on the post op que.
Called the dr the nurses assistant took notes. Advised me to get offy feet and rest more.
I had such Plans for Christmas dinnrr I'll do as much as I can from
My kitchen chair and have my kiddos and DH do the lifting.

i think all the dr's are crazy.mine released me yesterday.i am now having pain that feels trapped in the hips area.very very wonderful pain.i cancelled christmas shopping tonite.i am just not able,tomorrow will make day#5 of working as a waitress.thi isnt a good pain never had this type but dr said i was doing just fantastic.but this is a very long recovery

Please stop Christinatas. You take care of you. Speak to Dr again. Pain should not be a daily issue.

thats what i think too.he chked cuff and ovaries and pain did not happen until after i left his office.this is a most horrible pain.somehow i got to make stuff for christmas but i think i'll go lay down for a while
