Re: scared doesnt even begin to cover it

Maybe I'm just too uptight and should relax and roll with the punches. Be glad that I can still have an orgasm at all and forget what used to be. Never mind that my cute little flat stomach now looks 5 months pregnant all the time. And accept the pain I now have and move on without second guessing and regret. I'm trying my best and hope to get there one day soon.

Sugarandspice, uptight probably isn't the right word here. I can only imagine what goes through your thoughts. I'm on the opposite end right now and I'm freaking out about everything. I truly hope things start looking up for you.

Re: scared doesnt even begin to cover it

I am set up with another dr the 16th and trying to set up with a third sooner I hope. There's just too much unexplained and confusing to just go "ok do whatever sounds good" ya know. I realize I'm young and this started when I was really young but I'm not stupid by any means. That's how it feels like I'm being treated anyways.

Re: scared doesnt even begin to cover it

yeah if you think dr's are makin u 2nd guess yourself you need to get 2,3,4 opinions.i have to keep diary or put on calender if/when i hurt, cause they hav to take ovaries....BUT pain on right side came back late last nite and has been with on/off all day at work.very discouraged that endo mite've spread to right ovary but i dont think its healing pain.same pain i had before surgery.i didnt know i was so ate up with endo til surgery.
so i dont know what to tell u, part of my pain is gone, its vanished but other is starting to rear its ugly head
ms.sug n spice: you are not uptight

Re: scared doesnt even begin to cover it

That's my biggest point I think is that I have only the bleeding pain and the one lesion on my crevix nothing more than that. Which makes me wonder if its an easy way out or if there is something more that I'm unaware of

Re: scared doesnt even begin to cover it

Charliedawn, I haven't read the whole thread but I am glad you are going for a second and third opinion. It will help you make up your mind on what direction to go. A hysterectomy is a huge step to take and personally, I would go for the least invasive options first before taking the final option. Good luck in your decision.

Re: scared doesnt even begin to cover it

charlie ,your young age i would definitely be checking multiple drs out.when i was 25 i had pre cancerous squaumous cells in cervix and they did 11 biopsies and cutterage.then a conization in hospital on an outpatient procedure.i was hurting back then but they did cone and i didnt hurt until about 5 years ago.the dr. i had back then told me i would have problems down the road but under no circumstance was he gonna jump the gun and do a hyster. then.i could have went to one that said hyst. rite off the bat.dont do an unnnecessary procedure.i am 37 now.so it was basically 5 years for pain started again.5 years is 5 years
