My surgery was on the 20th and I worked all day on the 19th until 4 and was totally fine.

Re: Bowel Prep?

I had to take a Reglan pill at noon (helps with nausea I guess cause I used it for morning sickness during some of my pregnancies) then had to drink a 10oz bottle of magnesium citrate (tastes horrible) at 4 and another at 6 took another Reglan at either 4 or 6 can't remember it was 2 weeks ago. Then I had to do an enema at bedtime not sure if I did it right though. Did this on Wed. 12/14 surgery LSH was on 12/15 did not have another BM until Sunday 12/18.

When picking up my Rx for my bowel prep and looking for Colace to help afterward, I ended up running into Steve McMichael (1985 Bears superbowl player) in our local Walgreens (he owns a bar and grill in my town). How embarassing to see a superbowl champ in the stool softner aile. My mom asked me if I asked for his autograph I said no what was I suppose to give him to sign... my bowel prep bag???
