Sarjes... Been thinking about you .... I am so relieved the bleeding has lightened up for you! Please please rest and take it easy.... I am glad you got an extension at your work. I am sure that your doctor will approve more rest for you. I wish you all the best and hope you recover fully and completely!

Re: Anyone else experience sporadic but extremely heavy bleeding - 4 weeks post op?

Wow, same story here too. I am at my forth week and having similar problems. I have to admit I took my son out bike riding for an hour and then started bleeding Saturday night. My surgery was on nov. 28th. I held off until Monday to try to see the doctor, but he is on vacation to Jan. 4th. I went into the ER and they could not help because they did not have a ob dr. On duty. So they were clueless on what to do. They did check to see if I'm anemic from bleeding saturday to Monday, but was negative. So they sent me home, didn't know what else to do unless I wanted to go into O.R. To check where bleeding is coming from. I denied them since they didn't have any clue. I came home and it's Wednesday and I'm still bleeding. Just don't know what to do till dr comes back and have no one to ask if this is normal or what am I experiencing since there is no on call number for office. It seems to go in cycles. My bleeding is a lot, then spotting. It's fresh, then dark. It continues in some type of cycle that my body keeps repeating these past couple of days and has not stopped yet. Just confused and kind of scared and maybe this is no big deal, but I just wish I had a dr. To talk to.
