Maybe it is just nature's way of letting you know you are making the right decision.

Re: Rebellious Uterus

Many of us have said that. Either we are just more aware, or it is and is not happy with us!

Re: Rebellious Uterus

Yep - I feel your pain, I have been bleeding, clotting, cramping, bloating constantly for the last 9 months or so with a few days of reprieve here and there. Needless to say, it started all over again last Friday and I have surgery tomorrow! I can tell you, although my nerves are pretty ramped up, I am looking forward to never feeling this way again!

Re: Rebellious Uterus

21 days to go as i lie here on my couch in pain and clotting. i had a steady flow of blood & clots for about 3 hrs. today. i was in a meeting when this started happening. really????? got so bad i called the dr. she wants to hear from me again tomorrow-or tonight if it happens again. the flow has slowed this evening but the pain & occassional clot still there. this is my third bleeding excursion in 5 weeks. dr. not happy about that. i am weak & without appetite. pressure & bloating is pretty intense as well. stop the madness. i am desperate to be done with this........... but still feeling anxious about surgery. my mind is playing nasty games, really bad. "Hope i wake up from anesthesia, hope my heart doesnt race, hope not to bleed to death, etc. etc." STOP. PLEASE

Re: Rebellious Uterus

Surgery is scary - being given powerful anesthetic drugs that make you unconscious. The docs and nurses will take very good care of you and they will be monitoring you 100% of the time. You will be surrounded by all types of professional medical staff. They don't want anything to happen to you either and they will see you through this.

Keep posting your fears and emotions - it really helps. We are here to support you.

I suffer from anxiety and was very worried about doing the surgery. There is discomfort and manageable pain, but I am 8 days out and it was so worth it! The doctors and nurses explained everything when I got there. I told them I was worried about nausea and they gave me something right away. The worst is the waiting for the surgery. Best of luck to you!
