We have a date

January 18th @730am .... Davicini procedure.

While I love my doctor I really dislike the scheduling nurse...

I think my first question is what can my mate and I do to prep for the aftercare?

Re: We have a date

I'm right there with you, January 19th!

I'm trying to figure out what I'll need to do prior to the surgery as well.

Good luck and hugs!

Re: We have a date

Hi, ladies.

Here is some pre-op information you can read through.

To prepare your household for your down time, I would recommend:
1. Buy/prep meals for the freezer - something that you can just pop in the microwave. Or meals that are easy to cook - like a cut up chicken.
2. Super clean your house, because you won't be doing that for a while.
3. Get loose fitting clothes - you will have a swelly belly. I lived for 12 weeks in sweats and loose fitting shorts. Some women like to get underwear one size too big. Some women also swear by the belly binder.
4. Get your recovery area set with books, magazines, DVDs, etc.

I am sure other women will chime in..

(((Hugs)))
