6 days and still peeing blue/green???

Anyone else still peeing funky colors. I know it's from the dye they used to check my ureters, but how long will it last? Also, everything I drink seems to taste funny. I know I should drink more but I get nausea at the thought of drinking more than sips at a time. I've been sipping a lot trying to stay hydrated, but curious if anyone knows how long that dye can stay in the bladder?

Wow - that's some long lasting color. I would have expected it to be gone by not, too.

Could be you just need a good 'flush', but with only small sips, that isn't going to happen. Have you asked your doctor about some anti nausea meds. They can be very helpful since many people experience it after anesthesia.

Nope, just pain meds and my usual asthma meds. Thanks for the replies.

OMG, I thought it was just me......ALL water tasted funny for about 2 week following my TAH!!!

I used a straw and put as close to the back of my throat without gagging. I was able to drink the water without tasting that much of it.....hope it helps....
