Hurts to Laugh!!!

I am 12 days post op, and have been sneezing some, which kills me, but today I watched a funny movie and was laughing hard...!! Could this hurt me in any way? I love a good laugh, but it hurts.. (TLH/BSO 12/21/11)

Re: Hurts to Laugh!!!

I'm not sure if it can cause damage or not, but you are does hurt! Along with coughing, sneezing....etc. I had a left Oophorectomy, and I have developed a habit of keeping my hand there on my abdomen to support it in case of a laugh, sneeze, or cough.

Re: Hurts to Laugh!!!

Coughing, sneezing and laughing all add some discomfort for me as well. I am 3 weeks today and I find it is a little better then the first two weeks but I too am still holding my tummy when I do any of those things. And... bumps in the car... not a fan, lol. I know we need some new shocks in my mini van... =)

Good luck,
