Well he told me to stop taking because of the side effects I was having dizziness and nausea started. Since I stopped taking it those symptoms have passed. I think I'm gonna have to be more proactive in taking the ibuprofen. I just feel I'm feeling all this twinges because I got up and cooked and doing so there was some bending. So I think my tummy is saying sit your butt down. So I'm gonna take it easy the rest of the night

Re: Are you taking it easy enough post-op?

My tummy wasn't flat before the surgery but since the surgery my tummy feels heavier than before. I find myself holding my stomach when I do get up and walk, because it seems so much heavier than before. Is it only me?

No I'm kinda scare to put any pressure on my tummy. I have thought about it. What about an abdominal binder? Has anyone used that since having surgery?

Re: Are you taking it easy enough post-op?

Well I definitely realized today that I've been pushing a little too much...washing clothes, dishes, etc...Thought everything was fine until I started bleeding again and passing pretty big blood clots. Ended up in ER all day seeing my Doc. Things are okay but I know I have to slow down whether I want to or not.

Atl2, I got a binder for exactly what you are saying, my tummy feels heavy, I'm lucky there is no pain, it just feels heavy sometimes.

Is the binder better than girdle?

Re: Are you taking it easy enough post-op?

I never tried a girdle but pretty much wore a binder the first 2 weeks. I still wear it when I'm going to be on my feet a lot. I like the binder because you can adjust the size easily.
