Lower abdomen pain 5 months post op

I had a vaginal hysterectomy 7/5/11, still have both ovaries. I feel pretty good most the time but now I'm having achy pain in low abdomen. When I sit or lay down I dont feel it so much but as soon as i start to get up or walking around I really feel it and not sure what this could be. This pain feels somewhat like my pain did a couple weeks after surgery, dull achy feeling. Anyone else expeirence this?

Yes!! For the last three days. Today is not that bad. I don't have a fever so I'm not sure what this is. I do feel a little better after I go to the bathroom. It comes in waves. I'm 7 months post op.

Re: Lower abdomen pain 5 months post op

I'm at about 5 months. I'm feeling more tenderness and soreness with occasional stings and twinges. I've also noticed specific pain sometimes when I move from sitting to standing. When I saw the doctor about a month ago, she wasn't worried. However, anytime you have questions, you can always check with the doctor or advice nurse.
