Friday's the day... I'm excited!

Hey everyone,

I'm sending prayers to those whose day is upcoming, and get well wishes to those who have left the castle victorious.

Does anyone know if there might be spare plugs to charge my gadgets in my room? I got a Nook Tablet for Christmas and I'd be sad if it died during my stay...

Also, does anyone have some good song suggestions for adding to my iPod, as well as must reads for my downtime?

Thanks as always, and blessings!

Re: Friday's the day... I'm excited!

Good luck with your upcoming surgery. The hospital that I was in had multiple plugs in the room plus WiFi. I downloaded John Grisham's new book and it was good! I read most of it home...the pain meds in the iv made me sleep quite a bit.

One thing high highly suggest if you are going to be in the hospital for more than two days is drink a lot of water and have some mints for your throat. It is really dry in the hospital and you don't want to start coughing..,believe me, it hurts like hell.

Good luck, get plenty of rest, and you will feel so much better in the long run!

LOL - I was excited, too.

I hope your surgery goes/went well today and wishing you all the best.

Yes there were plenty of plugs in my room too. However, after the surgery I couldn't spend more than 10 minutes reading...or focusing on doing one certain thing. It takes about 2 weeks to eliminate all the anesthesia they put through your body during the surgery...Don't expect too be able to spend too much time on your tablet. Plus, the visitors might not give you time either...
