I'm going in for mine on the 9th. Also scared and feeling lost, but we will all get through this.

To the original poster - I was afraid as well but am so glad to have it done and over with. The pain is manageable and as long as you rest at home it's not been too bad here for me.
Yeah, I meant that the prolapse--A&P--returned. New Doc had never heard of doing repairs without hyst. He had also never heard of someone needing a second fix. He said my uterus (somewhat enlarged) was pulling everything down and causing a return of rectocele and cystocele. He says that now everything should stay put. (the urologist said he couldn't give any guarantees, but I like the gyno's answer better!)
