Re: Hair Loss

My guess would be the lack of hormones. Can you make an appointment with your doctor? There may be other possible causes as well.

Re: Hair Loss

Hi dear sister,

I am sorry you are dealing with hair loss. I am curious if you are taking any medications for Chrohn's? For example have you been on any prednisone? I have my ovaries, but found I lost some hair (all over my body - head, legs, and yes down there) while on Lupron (medical menopause) but have had the same effect to an even greater degree on many of the anti-rheumatic drugs I take for my arthritis, such as methotrexate, humira, and prednisone. In fact, after going off high dose prednisone after a year, I finally had to start shaving my legs again regularly!
