Re: Best Wishes to our January 10 Princesses

I know how y'all feel. I thought I was fine, but now I'm starting to get nervous. I know that's normal, but still. I can't relax, but I can't get anything done, either.

Today (Sunday) was my last workday (I'm self-employed), so now that I don't have work to keep me occupied, I am faced with my list of chores and errands to complete before Tuesday morning surgery. I don't feel up to doing it all because I am cramping and tired. I have no one to help me. My brother will be driving 250 miles tomorrow to take care of me, but it's not as though he'll be up to cleaning the house or anything.

Re: Best Wishes to our January 10 Princesses

I am having a robotically-assisted total hysterectomy (removal of uterus and cervix). I get to keep my ovaries, but will have the fallopian tubes removed. What kind are you having, Susan?

Re: Best Wishes to our January 10 Princesses

Same as you, but they are taking it all. I am having a lot of trouble with my left tube and ovary. I had two tubal pregnancies in that tube that were surgically removed. Never any children....I'm 38...but God has something else planned for me. My surgery is at 9am. How about you Moonruth?

Re: Best Wishes to our January 10 Princesses

To Susan: My surgery starts at 11:30am. Will be so glad to quit having pain and periods that last 8-14 days per month, due to golfball size fibroid lodged in the uterine wall.

To bimmerwoman: Yay! I know what you mean! I'm hoping my period won't start between now and my Tuesday morning surgery, but I sure can feel it coming on (technically not due til the 13th, but it could start early). During last month's period, I told myself it was my last one...forever!
