Ok, I have a question. I am not sure if anyone has ever thought of this. Is it possible for them to do the surgery, if you are on your monthly period? I have not had my pre-op appointment yet. This is just a question that has been on my mind.

Re: Question

I had my pre-op with my doc last week. Scheduled for a TAH on Thursday the 12th. That was one of my questions. Even though technically I already had my "last" cycle, I tend to come on off-cycle. She said there is no reason why it can't be done if I come on and not to worry. She said if docs had to wait until we were off, most of us would never get it done. Lol!

Good luck & best wishes!

Re: Question

I was having my period when i went in for surgery. They put a plastic pad under me and gave me one of those awful bulky hospital pads to tuck between my legs.
