Almost 6 weeks post op

Hi ladies! I cannot believe that it has almost been six weeks. I am basically pain free and have been for some time now..every now and again I feel a little crampy but other than that I feel pretty good. I haven't returned to doc yet that is next week so I assume she will release me. I still get this brownish discharge though especially in the morning and the it leaves I assume this is parrot of the healing process, anyone else getting this? I will say the only big scare. Had was 3 weeks out I started to bleed only to find that I pulled a stitch but then the bleeding stopped after that. I did pass a scab looking thing that made me spot light pink for about 5 minutes or so bit other than that I have just been resting. My husband and 8 year old daughter have been great so I thank my lucky stars everyday that God gave me both of them. I am hoping to return to work by the end of the month, I am going a little crazy here in the house. Good luck to all my recovering sisters and those whose hysterectomy journeys are beginning.

Jenbyman -

6 weeks is still considered early recovery. If you are a slow healer it wouldn't be surprising to still have some discharge. There is still a lot of healing going on.
