Silly question??
I'm almost 6 weeks postop now. Everything is pretty much back to normal, and I feel pain free! However, here's my silly question, "do any of you have a hard time bending over to shave your legs?". Bending over during the day doesn't bother me- only shaving my legs. Silly question.....

Re: Silly question?????
I can't say it does normally. I have a OCD about shaving and was shaving the day after my surgery in the hospital. Nurses thought it was funny. Sometimes I do feel a little pull but nothing bad. I have a tub shower. I put my leg up on the side and only have to slightly bend. So if you don't have a tub shower see if you can use something as a foot rest. Makes it way easier! Good luck!

Re: Silly question?????
Could be just the way u bend and lift your leg. I have a stand up shower and it has a seat I put my foot on. Maybe try another position? Hope that helps.

Re: Silly question?????
I have lost 20lbs and am 4 weeks davinci-I'm in several smaller sizes of pants but obviously my belly is swollen or saggy as I just noticed today as I only shave once every few weeks since it's winter and I am not going anywhere much-my tummy hits my thigh when I put up my foot on the side of the shower and it's not pain, but not comfortable.
Try my favorite way: sit on the side of the tub, put your leg up or just leave it bent at a 90 degree angle with foot inside the tub-I just find it less stressful on the belly and used to do it when my lower back was really bad-hope this helps.
Heck, I don't particulary care for putting on and taking off my socks-so not a silly ? at all.
