castle tomorrow

The big day finally arrived! Had another crying bout last night, it was bad. On clear liquids today and i'd like to mention that i have had many things for breakfast but never chicken broth! i am gonna be starving by early afternoon but, assume i wont have any strength to have another crying bout. So not a bad thing. I wish everyone headed to the castle the best of luck for an uneventful surgery and a speedy painless recovery. See y'all on the other side. BTW: scared. Hate needles

I'll be right there with ya'!

May your IV go in smoothly so that you'll only have one needle to deal with. Prayers and best wishes for an uneventful surgery and an awesome recovery.

To the future!

Re: castle tomorrow

Good luck for tomorrow, you will be just fine, i'm 13 days in recovery and it was a breeze, I was absolutely terrified, but on the day a calm washed over me as I waited 5hrs in my room to walk down to theatre, I played cards and listened to some music. I don't like needles but didn't feel the iv go in and the best was I didn't even know I went to sleep, was mid-flow in a conversation, must have bored the anethetist!! This was my first ever operation and I wouldn't fear it again. Please be strong and have faith in yourself that you can and will get through this. x

Drat that flo, anyway... looking forward to escorting her out the door! I report at 11:15, surgery scheduled at 1:00. I'm feeling very calm. I've cruised Facebook & hystersisters with the cat curled up on my feet. Life is good. See you all on the other side!
