Dull constant ache lower left

abdomen - around where I think the ovary is.

5 weeks post-op today. TVH with a/p stitch repair, cervix removed. Ovaries healthy, kept.

I have not had much pain during recovery (the menstrual type cramping and the posterior ache) but I do have this dull ache always in the same spot. Over the past week or two it was just the twingy pain, came quickly, left just as fast. Today it has been there since I woke at 6am. Maybe my bladder is being grumpy today?

My ob/gyn is on mat leave now and she only has a replacement in her office 2 half days a week for clinic so I can't call there until next week.

Not overly concerned, no fever. Bowels and urine are moving fine... but still wondering why the pain is always the exact same spot. Any ideas?

Could it be you feeling your stool moving through your bowels? Whenever I have a bit of pain in my left side, it is me needing to empty things out. I never noticed this before my hyster but I sure do now.

I have constant pain in lower left also, but I have no ovaries. You should tell your Dr. as mine is saying since CT didn't show anything if I am not feeling better in a week or two he is going back in laproscopically as it's not normal, but if it gets better, it is most likely a blood clot that takes more time.

Good luck-feel better!

I think you are right! Even though I am regular it sometimes does not feel like there is much exiting. Late last night and then again this morning I had some amazingly large (blush) movements - and the pain is gone! Thanks
