I'm with you.. I hate the prep and I still haven't heard from the hospital to find out what time they want me.. I hate all this waiting.. still I have a positive attitude. and after reading about most of the experiences with the Da Vinci .. I too am hoping for a speedy recovery... and no more cancer!

Did the prep make anyone else sick? The box said it takes about two hours to kick in... but 5 min later it had kicked in big time!!! and I am super nauseous

You can do it, ladies!!!! This was me last year; tomorrow is my hysterversary and looking back on this past year, I'm so glad I had it done. The first few weeks sucked and I knocked myself back a few weeks by popping a couple of stitches (when they say don't lift anything, DON'T lift anything - even if it's a reflex action to stop your dog jumping!) but it will be worth it in the long run. I am so nervous also. I have 2 children that need looking after and well the other is old enough to look after himself. I have a wonderful gf who is taking kids for me because I am alone on TUesday but tehy will be home when I get out of hospital and they are already arguieng. Just so scared. My BF tells me its just surgery.

Future hystersisters!!!!!!!!! Everything will be just fine. What you are going through right now is really tough!! I am 13 days post op......had everything removed. I already feel like a new woman. It is rough at first, but it does get better!! Follow your restrictions to the 'T'!! I will be praying for you.....as I remember almost 2 weeks ago how I felt!! See ya on the other side!!

Good luck girls, I am heading to the castle in three hours, and I am so ready. My last meal was on Sunday at 6. I can't wait to eat lol. I wish you all luck, and I will be thinking about all of you while we go through this together. see you on the other side!
