ER visit

Well, the pain got the best of me yesterday and I gave up and went to the ER. I can't sit without extreme pain. They gave me some pain meds and started me on an antibiotic I really didn't care for the dr on call last night. They said they could admit me and then just fit me into the rotation with who ever had an opening. But I have surgery scheduled with my dr on Tuesday and I want him, so I came home. I'm just so tired of being in pain! Now I'm out of work until I'm fully recovered. I'm so stressed! Sorry to vent!

Re: ER visit

I am so sorry things are so painful for you. Hugs for you. Take it easy and rest. Tuesday will be here before you know it. The other side of this will begin your "new" life.

Re: ER visit

Hang in there, girl. One week to go. I have no doubt that your post surgery pain will be a cake walk compared to what you are dealing with right now.

Take care and Good Luck!

Re: ER visit

I'm so sorry you are suffering. I was in the same boat and also in the ER right before my surgery. Living with pain is no fun and can make you feel hopeless. I am 4 weeks out from my hysterectomy today and cannot believe the difference! Soon you will be here, too! I think you were very wise to wait for a doctor you know and trust. Hang in there the best you can and know that you are doing something to change and improve your life! You are not alone!

Re: ER visit

Thanks for the support! I just want to have this behind me. It is bound to be a long week, since I'm not working. Upside is I get to go to my daughters award program tomorrow and see her get her award for advanced honors. I'm so proud of her!

Now, just to get thru today!

Re: ER visit

Look at it this way you get to go into surgery rested and do all of your last minute pre op preparations in relaxed mode....
We all know a little extra rest is good for healing!
Soon you won't have anymore pain that isn't temporary and easily fixed.
