Yes! Thought we'd find endometriosis because I'd had some removed before. It wasn't bad, but had a large cyst attached to my ovary and adenomyosis causing a large mass in my uterus. I'd never even heard of it. But it sure does explain my pain. I was glad there was a reason!

I agree with everyone and feel exactly the same way-it made me feel heard and taken more seriously for once-finally!!!

I almost kissed the tech when she told me I had fibroids at my ultrasound. So no, you are not crazy.

My dr. told me that I had extensive adhesions and adeno and it was no wonder I had been in pain for years. My ex and some of my drs. convinced me my pain was either normal or in my head and I always felt like I was a wimp. My current dh has always been sweet and sympathetic but somehow that often made me feel guilty like I was milking my periods for sympathy or something.

It is quite a relief to know that there was a medical reason for all the pain and a reason for me not bouncing back as quickly as some others have. The surgeon had to get all the adhesions out and disconnect most of my innards from eachother.
