pain after being checked out

So here is my situation, I have a fibroid that is inside my uterus and filling it up, its the size of a three month pregnancy. I recently had a third opinion and still have to have the surgery. I am in a lot of pain since all the appointments I have had, pressure and even sensitive to touch on my lower belly. I am a little concerned, it seems like they have just made it worse by checking me, i wasn't hurting like this before all these doc appointments, actually the reason I went in was because of a two week period.
Is there anything I can do to relieve the pain? I mean i can't even make love to my husband at this point and I hate that. My surgery is till 7 weeks out, any help would be greatly appriciated!
