Gas?

Do you get a lot of gas with tvh? If so why?

Yes lots of gas and it hurts. I have no idea why. I took Gas X and it helped a little.

I didn't have a problem with gas after my TVH. It's just another instance in which we're all different.

I had lots! I was told that since I had repairs as well that the swelling kept all my gas trapped. Imagine no BM for 4 days and too swollen to pas gas = ouch!! When I did start to pass gas it sounded like a slow squeaky balloon leak. Heat on the belly helps, gas x helps, walking helps and for me getting my hips raised a bit helped gas to seep out (pillow under bum)
