I'm right there with you. Mine is tomorrow morning. Gotta be there at 7:30 and surgery is at 9:30. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you sister! Good luck...

I think the "worries" and the "stress" is just normal. We women are so used to being "in control", I think that is what had me so upset. But my friends and family really were wonderful to help. I am 3-weeks post-op and have done really well! Not much pain after the first 4-7 days. I am having touble - sometimes - of feeling like I can do more than I can. I live alone so it is so "normal" for me to do everything. Sometimes I forget I cannot do everything. Today I totally relaxed. Took a shower put pjs back on rested, watched movie. I might be able to get used to this!!! But I will be headed back to work in a couple of weeks.

I told him physically I am ready for this, mentally there is a little guy running around in my head on fire flailing his arms.....the nurse without skipping a beat said "and we are gonna chemically restrain that guy." I will tell you they did an awesome job at that too!!
