Pain in the Mons Pubis? Ouchn

Hi all.

Day 5, and progressing nicely except for pain on the right side of the Mons...

My right side was the most involved, and did take the brunt of the cutting, wrestling, etc... And the cavity where the organs were housed is moving along nicely...But...

What started out feeling like sticky tape pulling hair on the pubis (where no hair exists) now feels like searing pain that doesn't really abate with the pain medicine.

Anyone else have such experience? Anyone have any advice?

Thanks, Girls!

******

In other news, first BM was a memorable experience today, diet is mellow, great support at home, sleeping like a baby, moving some, showering once a day feels like a major achievement, taking percoset 5-325 every four hours, and Motrin 600 every six hours, stool softeners... Sound familiar?

I got that at about day 3 and it didn't stop till around week 3. I asked my doctor about it and he said it was probably just the nerves growing new endings. It was terrible, mine would get worse when anything would brush up against my skin. My hydro 7.5's usually would make it go away. Just remember to wear very loose fitting clothes. I hope this helps! Happy Healing Sister!!

Ktnir- sounds very familiar. I think what you R experiencing is pretty "normal". Good luck and take it super easy. I am 4.5 weeks and still can do very little without spotting...take your time to heal, we only get one chance to heal properly.
