Re: Sleepy in Chicago and about to cry

Don't be afraid to try sleeping pills. Talk to your primary care Dr. Some of the sleeping pills are non-addictive. And some you only take when you need them. Talk to someone who is well informed about your options. Good luck. Prayers for sleep for all of you with sleep issues.

My doctor is willing to prescribe sleeping pills but that doesn't get me back on track. Thank you for listening.

Go to the vitamin section of any store and get you melatonin. It works off of the melatonin your body already makes and it helps you go to sleep without a bunch of chemicals.

My husband takes it nightly and sleeps like a champ.

Thank You! I am taking 12.5 mg of Ambien as needed. I have not had any side affects. I still will wake up once or twice, but I go right back to sleep and I do feel better and look better in the morning.

I bought melatonin yesterday and took it last night. I slept a good part of the night. It worked!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really just don't want to depend on something to get me to sleep but I'll start taking it and see. Thanks for all the suggestions!!!! No more tears.

I jumped the gun and thought my problems were solved with the melatonin but day two didn't do anything. Then I tried magnesium and calcuim at night which didn't do anything. Now again sleepless and ready to cry!!!!!!! So frustrating.

Have you tried the Sleepy Time tea? I haven't tried it yet but my sister swears by it.

Ambien CR will help you stay asleep.

Re: Sleepy in Chicago and about to cry

The sleepy time tee doesn't help me. Tonight I'm going to take an anti anxiety pill and see. I'm so tired my work sent me home because I didn't look good today. Go figure 5 hours of sleep in 5 days doesn't help with recovery.

I don't want to depend on Ambien, especially since I go back to work on the 22nd, so I did not take it last night. Good thing that it is a week end. I am hoping that once I go back to work and use more energy, I will sleep better.

I also started having back pain last week that kept me up last night. Is this also part of the recovery process?
