HAD CT 6 weeks post op for rt side pn

Good Morning Ladies-

Yesterday I had a CT done because I was having pn and cramping on my RT side. I had a LAVH and Left side ovary removed on DEC. 28th. I got the results back in the afternoon and I can't believe it. I was told I now have a large cyst on my RT ovary and 2 benign cysts on my liver and some trauma from the trocar which will go away with heat and NSAIDs. I never had a problem with this ovary in the past and i just had to sit back and call my spouse at work and laugh, what else could I do?
I want to thank all of you ladies for your support and wish you well on your paths to recovery. I don't know what I would have done with out you

Re: HAD CT 6 weeks post op for rt side pn

Oh my - I am so sorry! I have had cramping pain on my right side since my surgery - I have both my ovaries - I am curious - what did doc tell u he saw? Mine wanted to take my ovaries to "clean" me out but I didn't want to go thru surgical menopause and said he could only take them if medically necessary -

Re: HAD CT 6 weeks post op for rt side pn

Basically they were ruling out a herniation of my bowel since I was still sore and was having sudden cramping, so I guess the good news is that it is only an ovarian cyst. Ovarian cysts can be normal, but some at times can cause some discomfort. I was really having problems with my left ovary and did lupron therapy a few years back for bleeding and pn. That is why they took my left ovary, after surgery my doc said "it looked very angry".

I guess if you continue cramping I would call your doc.. Remember to still take it easy as we are still in recovery even though we may feel great. I wish you well and please keep me posted how you are doing.
