Reading the Messages has helped

I have been reading the messages and just reading the responses has helped. I am scheduled for a abdominal hysterectomy on April 9 with a doc appt on March 23 to talk to him and all. I am calm right now, looking for information, but I know I will be stressing as the time comes closer. I see that I have a lot to between now and the time for surgery. I also have to contend with a mammogram! And I really want that tummy pillow...and my boss says she will be making one for me. So thank you for the posts and I will keep reading.

Re: Reading the Messages has helped

Hi bookfan!

I can relate to arriving here to find so much information I would never have found otherwise. Just others sharing their experiences, even though we are all different in many aspects, was abundantly helpful to me.

Sounds like you have a good, solid plan and will have plenty of time to get situated and ready for your surgery. I relied very heavily on my tummy pillow. I never went anywhere without it for the first couple of weeks after my surgery!
