Thank you
I'm trying to stay upbeat but this has to be one of the hardest things I've had to do.

I am working on what I feel and what I'm supposed to feel and I am confused. Is this moral?

Re: Pre-Op on Monday and I'm getting nervous

Yes it's very normal. My surgery and recovery were the hardest thing I've ever been through. And I'm still working on it day to day. It's ok to feel sad about this. A uterus is important to a woman and there are many emotions involved with losing it. Some of us really need to grieve this loss. I came right out and told my DH that I needed support through this. I may weep uncontrollably, I may be unreasonable, and it may go on for a while. But I'll do my best each day and I promise one day it'll be better.

Educate yourself, ask a lot of questions and prepare your home. You won't be able to do much the first couple weeks and you will have restrictions on what you can do for 6-8 weeks.

We will help you through this
